broken equipment, or have any other safety concerns about the parks, please

please contact the Mundelein Police Department by calling 911.
The Mundelein Park & Recreation
District is committed to providing a safe place for recreational activities and
would prefer to enhance the quality of the parks rather than replace vandalized

residents of the Park District with quality park sites and facilities.

Park District Hours
For park District information and rentals, the administration
offices are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Click here for
Park View Health and Fitness Center Hours. You can register for all
programs during Park View hours. The Community Center Indoor Pool hours
are listed here.
Non Residents Fees
Non Park District residents can now
register for our programs at anytime but they will be charged a permanent non
resident fee. This new fee will be charged whenever a non resident registers
for any program. Previously, non residents paid double the resident fee during
the first weeks of registration. They had the option of waiting until after
the initial registration period and paying the resident rate. This option will
no longer be offered. Non Park District residents do not contribute financial
support to the park district through property taxes. To ensure that non
residents are paying their fair share to use our programs and facilities, the
Board of Commissioners has elected to use this new fee structure.
Resident/Non Residents Defined
The term .resident. used throughout this brochure refers to
Mundelein residents who live
within Mundelein Park District boundaries and contribute financial support
to the Park District through property taxes.
Some residents with a Mundelein mailing address may not be residents of the
Mundelein Park District. Please contact our Administrative Office at
847-566-0650 if you need residency information.
Family
A family is defined as parents and their unmarried children,
up to 21 years of age, residing with them. Children 22 years and older, other
relatives and/or individuals in the same household are NOT included in the
definition of family.
Photo Policy
Participants of programs and special events permit the taking
of photos and videos of themselves and their children during Park District
activities for publication in the program brochure, publications, website,

District property are for Park District use and becomes its sole property.
