Barefoot Bay Family Aquatic Center
Barefoot Bay is closed for the season. Thanks for enjoying your summer with us! Reminder: Barefoot Bay season passes that offer a discount for advance purchase are on sale now at the Mundelein Community Center (early bird rates thru March 23).
There are plenty of year-round swim opportunities with Mundelein Parks -- at the Mundelein Community Center -- swim instruction, open/family swim and special aqua fitness classes (click on eah for more details).
Opened in 2006, Barefoot Bay is a New England-themed, six-acre family water retreat. The aquatic center offers amenities for swimmers of all ages. Daily and season passes are available (with Mundelein resident rate). Children ages two and under are free daily with adult paid admission.

Water Safety Certified Personnel
Barefoot Bay’s aquatic managers, lifeguards and swim instructors are all certified in water safety by the Starfish Aquatics (STAR) program.
The Mundelein Park & Recreation District is a proud IAPD/IPRA
Distinguished Accredited Agency (learn more).
