Diamond Lake Recreation Center, Lake and Beach

Diamond Lake Beach is closed for the season. Thanks for joining us this summer and making it such a great place to swim, picnic and enjoy Mundelein's great lakefront! The site's Recreation Center is open throughout the year for preschool classes and other programs.

REMINDER: "Early Bird" season passes with discounted rates for advance purchase are not on sale at the Mundelein Community Center.

Year-round swim opportunities are available at Mundelein Parks at the Mundelein Community Center (learn more).

Diamond Lake Recreation Center is 100 acres. It includes a pristine lake, sand beach, grassy areas, and shaded picnic grove. In summertime, the facility is the hub for Diamond Lake Beach, a recreational destination for swimming, boating, fishing, boat and shelter rentals, special events and more.

Paddle boats are availble for rent for an enjoyable excursion on the water.
Throughout the year, fun and educational programs are also held at the site, including the Learning Center Preschool for ages 3 to Pre-K.

Diamond Lake Beach features FREE special events throughout the season for all ages to enjoy. And, it's also the perfect place for your group outing -- school groups, corporate team building and more! Discounted rates
