2008 Boat Launch
 
Nontransferable Boat Launch Keys are available for launching of registered boats and parking of tow vehicles at Lakefront Park on Diamond Lake. Rules, regulations and keys will be made available at the Park District office, 1401 North Midlothian Road, beginning April 1, 2008. Hours for purchase are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. For additional information you can either e-mail Adrienne at azagozdzon@mundeleinparks.org or call 847-566-0650, ext. 10.
 
 
To purchase a Boat Launch Key you will need to bring [in person] the following:
  • A valid Department of Natural Resources boat registration card.
  • Tow vehicle license plate number.
 
To purchase a Boat Launch Key at the resident rate you will also need to bring [in person] the following:
  • A current driver's license (for proof of Park District residency)
  • A valid Department of Natural Resources boat registration card with the SAME NAME
    that appears on the driver's license.
Resident Fees:
  • Non-power row boats (oars only), canoes, & kayaks

  • Boats powered by 15hp or less (includes trolling motors) &
    sail powered boats
$40.00
  • Boats & all personal water craft over 15hp
$62.00
  • Second vehicle parking sticker (cannot have both vehicles in lot simultaneously)
$10.00
Non-Resident Fee:
  • Per any vessel
$200.00
 
Second vessel must purchase a full fee permit.

 

 Attention Boaters: Mark The Date

There will be no boat traffic allowed on Saturday, May 31, 2008 between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm due to a NEW Park District Program. Please come out and join us for the new Diamond Lake Hypertour Wakeboard Competition and Demo. The event showcases some of the best talent in wakeboarding as well as top-notch equipment, FREE demos, live music, Kids' activities and more. Free beach admission during the event (beach admission required after 2:00 pm.)
