2008-2009 Learning Center

The Learning Center preschool program is designed to provide education through recreation. Our objective is to give children the opportunity to grow emotionally, intellectually, and socially. Our goal is to prepare your child for their first elementary school experience by developing their self-confidence, independence and cooperation.

3-4 Year Old Program
Children must be at least 3 years old by September 1, 2008. The major objective of this program revolves around developing socialization skills. Through games, stories and group activities, children in the program will develop self awareness and fundamental skills such as cooperation, listening, sharing and interacting with peers. Alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors will be introduced. Children must be toilet trained by the time class begins. Parents provide a snack on a monthly basis.

Classes are held at Learning Center North which is located in the Mundelein Senior Center, 1200 Regent Drive.
