Plant a Tree in your community or neighborhood park
through the Mundelein Park District Tree Dedication Program
Planting a tree is a thoughtful and distinctive way to present living memorials.
Mark a birth, anniversary or memorialize a special family member or friend
with an environmental gift that will last for decades!
Your generous contribution will enhance the Mundelein Park District's community and neighborhood parks as well as show someone how much you care! When it comes to honoring a person, nothing surpasses the simple human gesture of planting a tree! All dedicated trees will be recognized on park plaques located at the base of the tree and will be maintained by the park district.
 Have a tree of your choice planted in any Mundelein Park & Recreation District park. Choose from a variety of shade or evergreen trees. The park district will consult with families or individuals on the tree species selected and the desired location. The cost includes the tree, tree installation and 4" x 6" engraved plaque. The park district is responsible for the upkeep and replacement of all trees. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
Tree donations are accepted year round but are only planted in the spring and fall.

We will secure the largest, healthiest tree within your budget. Actual tree cost may vary depending on the supply available. These prices are guidelines based on the Park District's minimum tree size standards.

A $100 deposit made out to the Mundelein Park District is required at the time of order. Once the actual cost of your donation is determined, you will be billed for the difference.
