Sebok stated, “The AllenForce Diamond Award is presented annually to an individual or member agency, for enthusiastic involvement in activities, programs, opportunities and living life-or enhancing the lives of veterans! This level of participation naturally leads to a healthy life style in many ways for themselves and others they impact. The DEDICATION to the physical act of getting up and going, not taking “no” for an answer, taking the bull by the horns and overcoming any challenges in the way of achieving their mission. Their DETERMINATION is awarded for continuing to serve beyond the means and resources at their disposal, for implementing something new, and for finding creative ways to keep going growing and learning as an individual (or agency). This leads to mentally being involved and focused on the future, the positive, the possibilities in life, resulting in amazing ways of impacting the lives of others. Their DRIVE for living and teaching a healthy outlook, focus on the CAN DO, accomplishing their mission to make a difference, leads to modeling leadership to others, being a role model, a light and inspirational spirit!”
