The 11th Mundelein Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, September 10, and Sunday, September 11 at Kracklauer Park in Mundelein.
Admire the unique blend of talented fine artists, music, food, and fun each day from 10 am to 5 pm. This juried show features 44 top-notch artists, displaying beautiful paintings, photography, pottery, wood furnishings, jewelry, fiber, and other handmade items. Plan to spend the day shopping, enjoying live music from local musicians and tasty food available for purchase. Admission and parking are free.
Along with professional artists from the Midwest, many of them local, the Mundelein Arts Festival will also highlight artwork by students from Mundelein High School and Carmel Catholic High School.
With the help of Gold Sponsors, Mundelein McDonald’s, Mundelein Automotive and Consumers Cooperative Association, and Silver Sponsor, Rustoleum, scholarship money will be awarded to students from each school. The festival will also include a free craft tent for kids on both Saturday and Sunday, where children can stop in to create a painted rock of their own. Food vendors will include Area Coffee and Buddyz Pizza. Local musicians will perform music throughout the weekend.
The festival is held at Kracklauer Park in downtown Mundelein (100 N. Seymour Avenue). Most of the show is located on the pavement for easy access by visitors. Mundelein Arts Festival is presented by Mundelein Community Connection and Mundelein Park & Recreation District. We would like to thank the many sponsors and volunteers that make the Festival possible.
