The District is repairing and replacing several asphalt paving areas starting this week. See below for locations, scope of work, and schedules.
Locations and Scope of Work:
Wilderness Park all the asphalt walking paths at Wilderness Park will be replaced.
Asbury Park, a small walking path area behind a few homes near the intersection of Dorchester Ct. and Sheffield Ave will be replaced (patched).
Longmeadow Park, a small area of walking path will be replaced (patched) near the Kettering Rd. and Franklin St. intersection.
Memorial Park, both entrances to the Memorial Park parking lot will be replaced. Currently, there are severe humps in the entranceway.
Steeple Chase Golf Course, a few areas near the practice putting green will be widened to better accommodate cart traffic.
Tentative Schedule:
Wednesday, July 17 – Demolition of the Asbury, Longmeadow, and Memorial Park areas.
Thursday, July 18 – Pave Asbury, Longmeadow, and Memorial Park. Demolition of Wilderness Park walking paths will start.
Friday, July 19 – Demolition of Wilderness Park continues.
Monday, July 22 – Demolition and preparation of the Steeple Chase practice putting green area.
Tuesday, July 23 – Pave the putting green site and Wilderness Park paths.
