Support from individuals, the community, and businesses help us to provide even more opportunities for fun, learning, and relaxation, throughout the Mundelein Park & Recreation District.

Support the Park District by donating your time as a volunteer.

  • Events: Mundelein Park & Recreation District organizes a wide range of annual events for the community. These events vary in size, complexity and duration. Volunteers are needed to assist with operations.
  • Coaching: Mundelein Park & Recreation District relies on volunteer coaches to provide a positive experience for the children playing specific sports. All coaches will be required to submit to a criminal background check.
    Recreation Advisory Committee
    Share your ideas! Mundelein Park & Recreation District Advisory Committee meets quarterly to provide outstanding recreation programs, services, and events. For more information, contact our Superintendent of Recreation & Facility Services at 847.388.5458.
  • Conservation Projects: We always appreciate help keeping our parks looking good. Volunteers can help by removing trash, cutting buckthorn, planting trees, or more. Ask about projects with our Parks and Facilities Superintendent at 837.388.5463.
  • Mundelein Parks Foundation: Mundelein Parks Foundation encourages health and recreation for the community through funding efforts that promote and enhance facilities, services, programs, parks, and special projects. It is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization governed by an independent, voluntary board. The foundation seeks to strengthen community and family ties with a self-generating funding source. If you are interested in becoming a Board Member, please contact Mundelein Parks Foundation President at 847.388.5460 for more information.
  • Recreation Advisory Committee Share your ideas! The Mundelein Park & Recreation District Advisory Committee meets quarterly in an effort to continually provide outstanding recreation programs, services and events. For more information, contact Ron Salski at rsalski@mundeleinparks.org.
