Join us for a weekend of art, music, and community!
On the weekend of September 6–7, 2025, Mundelein Community Connection and Mundelein Park & Recreation District proudly present the 14th Annual Mundelein Fine Arts Festival—a juried art showcase celebrating the exceptional talents of 50 fine artists working in a variety of media. This two-day festival, offers a vibrant experience featuring art, music, food and fun! In addition to professional artists, the festival will highlight outstanding student artwork from Carmel Catholic and Mundelein High Schools.
Judges will award cash prizes for Best of Show and Best in Category across six categories. The Kirk Players will present a $500 Emerging Artist Award, and various Purchase Awards will be granted, including the Village of Mundelein’s Annual Purchase Award. Furthermore, scholarship funds will be awarded to Mundelein High School and Carmel Catholic High School to support aspiring young artists.
The festival takes place at Courtland Commons in downtown Mundelein (N.E. Corner of E. Courtland St & Seymour Ave.), with artists exhibiting in a paved area for easy accessibility. Live music will fill the air throughout the weekend, adding to the lively and inspiring atmosphere.
