Mundelein Heritage Museum Re-opening Ceremony

The Mundelein Historical Commission and Mundelein Park & Recreation District invite you to our reopening ceremony. Come and celebrate Mundelein’s heritage and see our newly remodeled museum.
Ceremony includes:
- The opening ceremony will include speakers from the Village, Park District, and Historical Society; a presentation of a Village Proclamation recognizing the museum re-opening; and a ribbon-cutting at 12:45 pm.
- Sing-along with the Mundelein Name Song.
- Museum tours after the ribbon-cutting.
- Old #1 will be on display (weather permitting).
- “Special Programs”
1 pm: Bob Stahlman will talk about the History of Old #1;
2 pm: Father Tom Franzman will talk about the History of Saint Mary of the Lake Seminary
3 pm: Shawn Killackey will make a presentation about his Mundelein History. - Village Hall Bricks, and Commemorative socks from Tiemart for purchase.
- Hotdogs, popcorn, lemonade, and iced tea available for the public.
- Music from the 1900’s-1970’s.
