Pickleball and Tennis Rules
Mundelein Park & Recreation District (MPRD) wants to provide an opportunity for pickleball and tennis players to enjoy our courts. Courts for both pickleball and tennis use are available at: Memorial Park, Keith Mione Community Park, Wortham Park, and Scott Brown Park.
- Courts are open to the public from sunrise to sunset.
- These courts are designed for open play. There are no reservations.
- MPRD pickleball and tennis leagues and programs have priority use of the courts.
- Courts are to be used for pickleball and tennis only. Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and rollerblades are prohibited.
- If all courts are in use and other players are waiting, players must exit the court upon completion of their game. If all pickleball courts are occupied, players should re-rack their paddles in the baskets provided. Re-racked paddles signifies a group or players is next to use a court.
- Group pickleball play is allowed, but the group must re-rack their paddles if other players are waiting.
- Use of courts for private instruction or commercial purposes without MPRD approval is prohibited.
- Athletic shoes are required.
- Food and glass containers are prohibited on the court.
- Dogs are prohibited from entering the courts.
- Smoking is not permitted on District property.
- All District rules and regulations apply.
