Get ready to make a splash this summer! The Mundelein Park & Recreation District is thrilled to invite the community to its 7th Annual Beach Bash — a FREE, all-ages event held on Saturday, June 14 from 11 am to 2 pm at Diamond Lake Beach.
Grab your sunnies, slap on some sunscreen, and come explore one of Mundelein’s hidden gems! Beach Bash is packed with family-friendly activities that are sure to bring the heat in all the right ways — from high-energy Beach Zumba to a wild and bubbly Foam Party, there’s something for everyone.
Event Highlights Include:
11 am: Beach Zumba to get the party started
11 am–2 pm: Face Painting, Beach Arts & Crafts, and an Inflatable Water Slide
12–1 pm: Classic Beach Games for all ages
1–2 pm: Foam Party finale
11 am–5 pm: FREE Kayak and Paddleboard Rentals
“This is our favorite way to kick off summer,” said Amy Langille, Cultural Arts and Events Supervisor. “Beach Bash brings the community together in a beautiful setting with fun, sun, and lots of smiles—all at no cost to our guests.”
Guests are encouraged to bring beach chairs, towels, and plenty of sunscreen to stay comfortable throughout the day. Don’t forget to pack your best summer vibes—and feel free to bring along a picnic to enjoy by the water.
