Spray Park 2025 Season: May 25–September 1
Notice: Please read
As we kick off the 2025 season at our summer aquatic facilities across the Mundelein Park & Recreation District, we’d like to acknowledge a recent oversight in the pricing structure at the Spray Park.
Effective immediately, children ages 2 and under will be admitted to the Spray Park free of charge. Guests ages 3 and older will follow the standard rates: $2 for residents and $7 for nonresidents. This update brings the Spray Park in line with our policy at Barefoot Bay Family Aquatic Center, ensuring a consistent and family-friendly experience across our facilities.
Earlier this season, admission was mistakenly charged to all guests, regardless of age. If this affected you, please reach out to Christian Kopp at ckopp@mundeleinparks.org for a complimentary day pass to either Barefoot Bay or the Spray Park as a thank you for your understanding.
Spray Park Daily Fees and hours:
Residents: $2 ages 3 and up
Non-residents: $7
All Access passes include entry to the Spray Park. All others entering the facility pay the daily rate; there are no Spray Park season passes available. The daily fee includes babies, toddlers, children, adults, and seniors.
Spray Park Regular Hours: 10 am – 5 pm
10 am–12 pm
12:30–2:30 pm
3–5 pm
To ensure the safety of patrons and staff, Spray Park will have 2 separate 30-minute designated time slots to allow for adequate deep cleaning. During this time, the water features will be turned off.

Barefoot Bay, Spray Park, and Diamond Lake Raincheck/pass policy
Safety is our top priority. Therefore, the pool, water areas, and the beach may close temporarily during severe weather conditions. If a facility closes for the day due to weather, you may be eligible for a Rain Pass. In order to take advantage of the Rain Pass policy, you must present your receipt when requesting a pass. You will also need to have been at the facility for less than two hours before the decision was made to close for the day. A Rain Pass will not be issued without a receipt. Passes will only be issued once and will not be reissued if lost or misplaced. If the temperature outside is below 70°, the Park District’s outdoor aquatics facilities will remain closed.
