45th Freedom Classic 5K (All Ages) “Do it for the Donut”
July 4 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
Dress in red, white, and blue and jump-start your 4th in our 45th Freedom Classic 5K. Blast off down Recreation Drive and travel through scenic Loch Lomond and the Keith Mione Community Park in this professionally chip-timed course. Post-race, participants can cool off in our sprinklers. Grab a patriotic donut and refreshments to fuel up for the rest of your 4th of July engagements.
The first 400 racers will receive a race t-shirt. Register by June 1 to guarantee shirt size. USATF Certified Course.
$100 cash award for 1st overall male and female finishers, as well as medals
for 1st–3rd place finishers in each age group.
Free FIRECRACKER 1/2 mile Kids Race (Ages 8 & Under) will begin at approximately 9 am. Race to the finish for firecracker freeze pop and medal.
No registration is required.
Pre-Packet Pickup: July 1–3 at the Mundelein Community Center, 1401 N Midlothian Rd. Packet Pickup will close at 12 pm on July 3.
