Have you heard about the boutique style fitness classes that the Health & Fitness Center has to offer? Barre Tone, Cycle & TRX, Hard Core Training, TRX Yoga and Tai Chi are available at about half the price of small studios. Starting November 29, try any of these paid fitness programs at the member rate for a short three-week commitment. Three weeks to fall in love with some of our favorite formats! Register at least 1 week before the start date. Space is limited.
Hard Core Training (Ages 18+)
Tues 7:15–8:15 pm Nov 30–Dec 14 or Thurs 7:15–8:15 pm Dec 2–16
Break fitness plateaus and challenge your body during a Boot Camp inspired class. Strength and cardiovascular drills will change each week to keep you guessing. This class in not for the novice participant.
Cycle & TRX (Ages 18+)
Thurs 6–7 pm Dec 2–16
Are you struggling to fit everything in? Get your aerobic and strength training all in one class. The instructor will lead you through a 30 minute ride followed by 30 minutes of suspension training on TRX straps, complemented with small equipment strength drills.
TRX Yoga (Ages 14+)
Tues 7–8 pm Nov 30–Dec 14
A perfect duo to master alignment, increase flexibility, and strengthen your overall yoga practice. Use the suspension trainer as a tool to balance, stabilize, and resist while performing traditional yoga poses. Experience with yoga is required.
Barre Tone (Ages 14+)
Mon 7:15–8 pm Nov 29–Dec 13 or Fri 9–9:45 am
Develop lean muscle, enhance your balance and work on deep core strength, while using the ballet barre as a tool. Try it and see why everyone keeps raving!
Tai Chi (Ages 16+)
Sat 8:30–9:30 am Dec 4–18
Practicing Tai Chi can help to reduce stress and improve balance. Many consider it meditation in motion. You will complete a series of gentle, flowing movements to create serenity. These movements are accompanied by deep breathing.
