Longmeadow Park project updates

The Mundelein Park & Recreation District has been waiting to move forward with any Longmeadow Park improvements until the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) announces if matching grants funds would be available. Recreation Way Improvement Project

Please be advised that road repairs are beginning on Recreation Way in Community Park. Preliminary work begins on Wednesday, September 14 and may cause some traffic disruptions. Patrons may need to use Dunbar Road to access the ballfields. Paving is expected to begin Monday September 19 with completion by Wednesday, September 21 (weather permitting). Read more…

Update: Diamond Lake Beach Reopened

August 1, 2023–The Lake County Health Department has given us the go-ahead to reopen Diamond Lake Beach after last week's algae bloom! The beach will be opening today (August 1) at 12:30 pm.
